The location is prime. just a few minutes from the city center, perfect for hitting local bars and restaurants. The bathrooms, while compact, were nicely refurbished and the beds surprisingly comfy for a budget spot.
Room sizes are a major squeeze. tight quarters make it hard to navigate your luggage around. Sound isolation is virtually non-existent—it’s not just the pipes that wake you, but every hotel guest sounds like they’re in your room. The absence of air-conditioning leaves you sweating in the summer months, and don’t even think about ironing your clothes here. there's no iron or laundry facilities at all. Breakfast is simple and rather weak for €11, leaving you wishing for something more substantial. The Wi-Fi can be spotty as well, just another inconvenience.

I stayed here for one night to explore the city and was impressed by the unique character of the place. The room had a charming balcony overlooking the street, allowing for natural light and fresh air, although the noise from the street was noticeable at times. I particularly appreciated the helpful front desk staff who made my stay feel welcoming, and the breakfast was a good value, especially the pancake machine that added a fun twist to the morning meal.

Hotel Cecyl offers a very central location in Reims.
I was disappointed with the initial room allocation—a standard room instead of the Comfort room I had booked. Upon query, they did move us, but the hassle was frustrating. the noise levels from adjoining rooms and the streets made it hard to relax, especially in the early morning hours.

Charming stay with character
The hotel boasts a fantastic location near cafes and bars, perfect for a night out. The bed was comfy and I appreciated having a kettle included in my room.
The rooms were quite small and lacked air-conditioning, making it a bit stuffy in the summer heat. the cleanliness could be improved, especially the carpets.

the location is awsome, just a min walk from main street with lots of bars and restaurants. the room though small, is super clean and cozy, really love the design of it. the staff are chill and helpful, made me feel welcomed. breakfast was decent too with enough options to start my day right. overall it was a good stay
the walls are super thin so i could hear noise from other rooms which was kinda annoying. also, the shower was really small and cramped

A prime location made exploring a breeze, with numerous restaurants and attractions just a short walk away. The cozy room featured a nice balcony, though minor issues like a door that didn’t close perfectly were present. The breakfast included an interesting pancake machine, but the lack of air conditioning made it stuffy during the warm days. Additional inconveniences were felt with the absence of ironing facilities and somewhat cramped quarters.
